A private house collection

Some places you visit. Others, you keep.

Alba keeps a small collection of houses across the Mediterranean and the Atlantic isles — each with its own keepers, and one office holding every thread.

The Collection

The Maison

We do not list houses. We keep them.

Twelve houses, each owner-loved and staff-kept, taken for one party at a time. We travel each one out of season, know its keepers by name, and plan around its weather rather than its brochure.

How we work

The Collection

Houses in our keeping

Three are shown here; the rest are shared once we know who is travelling. One is still being made ready.

The keeper's standard

Every house comes with its people

A cook who knows the market, a keeper who knows the shutters, a host who knows when to appear and when to vanish. The staff stay with the house; you simply arrive.

Journeys between

One office, the whole itinerary

Flights, boats, drivers, tables, and the friction between them — held by the advisor who booked the house. From your first note to the drive home, one thread.

We came for a week and stayed for three. The house arranges you, somehow, into better hours.
