The People Behind the Collection
The Wild Africa Collection began with a belief that a safari and a villa holiday should be planned by the same trusted hands. We built a small office that knows each house personally — bush, beach, and winelands alike.
Amara Okello
Amara grew up on the Kenyan coast and trained as a conservation biologist before turning to travel. She has spent two decades guiding and building relationships with the owner-families behind our houses, and still travels each property before it joins the collection.
Daniel van der Merwe
Daniel came up through the Cape winelands and Southern Africa’s safari lodges, leading our villa partnerships and culinary programmes. His eye for hospitality shapes the staffed, private feel of every house we represent.
